The United Auto Workers (UAW) union has gone on strike against GM, Ford, and Stellantis. Ford faces a growing chance of a strike in Canada, as negotiations continue but chances of reaching a deal are slim. The union has granted an extension to GM and Stellantis to try and reach a pattern-setting deal. The Canadian strike could impact Ford's US plants. Ford has not yet responded to the union's statement.
