Brits may experience a heat blast with temperatures reaching 28C after heavy rain showers across the UK. The Met Office forecasts heavy showers but also predicts a hot spell in early September. Wales and Scotland may remain cool. The weather is expected to become mostly dry with sunshine over the weekend. The Met Office also mentioned the possibility of an Indian Summer in September with occasional showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures are likely to be slightly higher than average.
